Introduction
According to the article L 42121-1 of the professional Labor code, the risk prevention and the staff safety are placed under the responsibility of the director of unity.
The CarMeN laboratory has its own Health Security (HS) committee. It is composed of three prevention assistants (PA) from each site: Lyon Sud, OPeRa (B13) and IMBL (La Doua), including a coordinator (N. Vega).
The roles of the PA are to meet the standards of HS and to control their implementation within the laboratory. It proposes the new HS procedures for evolution of occupational hazards and the legislation to the director.
The process HS of the CarMeN laboratory has been certified according to ISO 9001:2008 since 01/07/2013 (for the site of Lyon Sud) and ISO 9001:2015 since June, 2016 (for the whole laboratory).
Objectifs
- Each newcomer follows an internal HS training program dependent upon the working sites. An annual specific training is organized by INSERM.
- The drafting of an individual annual registration record to chemical, physical and biological hazards. The completed forms and signed by the director and stored by CarMeN.
- The annual drafting of a single document to risk exposure (DUER). It combines a risk analysis for each activity and the HS action plan in order to minimize risks. It is sent to the different administrations.
- The annual drafting of the risk prevention plan for hazardous materials (decree 92-158 of 20/02/1992)
